Social Media: Rules Of Engagement

On Wednesday, I had the opportunity to speak to the members of the Bucks County Bar Association. Like many in service-based businesses, they struggle with creating a strong personal brand. Most were fearful of negative reviews, especially maintaining client privacy when responding to the reviews in the social sphere.  Some were reluctant to develop a social presence in any capacity simply because of privacy while others have a presence but grapple with developing consistent, relevant content  for their audience. My presentation, Social Media Rules of Engagement, seemed appropriate for this group and I thought you  might like it, too. I cover the following areas:

  • What Is Social Media
  • The Importance of Personal Branding
  • Social Media Best Practices
  • “Do’s” and “Don’ts” of Social Media
  • Creating a Social Media Plan
