Social media for regulated industries is a hot topic – and one that’s shrouded in mystery. Cracking the code to this beast is a challenge due to the multiple layers of risk and the unclear rules surrounding how social media is legally categorized.
If there’s anything I’m up for, it’s a challenge, and one that I took head on as I prepared a ten minute presentation for the corporate clients at Marketingprofs. Yes, this is a complicated subject, but the biggest takeaway is that there are universal best practices that can and should be applied to any business’s social media presence – regardless of whether or not that business is highly regulated.
