Those of us who own a business understand how hard it is take time off.
But, it’s important to take time away from your work for the reasons listed in both of these stories, "Lessons learned in business: take a break," and “3 days and 3 takeaways.”
How quickly I forget.
As I was agonizing over writing a blog post today, and still having enough time spend time with my husband, I decided it was time to take some of my own advice.
On Friday, Pete and I celebrate five years of marriage. Tonight, we took a dinner cruise on the Pride of Susquehanna riverboat to celebrate. “The Pride” as it’s called in Central PA is a very old, but still chuggin’ little boat that offers cruises, along the Susquehannna River. It’s also where we had our wedding reception, five years ago. The weather was absolutely perfect this evening, so all stars pointed to: take the night off!
Remember to take time for you. There’s no such thing as too busy to enjoy what and who matters the most.
