My husband and I recently returned from our annual trip to Sandals Montego Bay, Sandals’ flagship resort established in May 1981 — a great year! 😉 I’ve written about my love for Sandals resorts in past posts. Their alignment with our #Strella core values is key to why we feel so at home there. This was our sixth visit to the resort — and our most relaxing and enjoyable Jamaica vacation yet.
This year was different from the previous two years because both the plane and the resort were full. You may have heard of “revenge travel,” which refers to making up for lost opportunities after the restrictions caused by the pandemic. I would agree that revenge travel is in full force! It didn’t stop us from having a great time, though. We made some new friends, and many of the people we met return to the resort every year, so we’ll see them again in 2024!
We have a new video editor at #Strella this year, Anna, who also has a brand-new column on our blog (check it out if you haven’t yet). She created mini videos of my vacation for me to use on TikTok and Instagram each day. I also shared them on YouTube shorts, and I was pleasantly surprised at the number of views. I’m sharing them with you here in case you’re yearning for a dose of warm weather and a little fun!
The past few years have been stressful for most of us. I hope you’ll take some time to enjoy life for a bit. For us, this trip was just what we needed.
